On Saturday 24 October, Afterstone was named Best Green Product of the Year at the Good Funeral Awards 2026.
We were also finalists for Green Company of the Year, Best Memorialisation Product and Best External Supplier.
We are beyond thrilled. The organisers received 1,460 nomination statements across the Good Funeral Awards 2026, so to come away a winner and finalist in several categories is a huge thing for us. Afterstone is under a year old. We are small but mighty and so proud to be offering something new and innovative in memorials. To be recognised by the funeral profession this early is an unbelievable milestone.
Why this one matters so much
The Good Funeral Awards are run by the AGFD, who want natural, eco-friendly funerals to become the mainstream. Afterstone was built on people and planet before profit. We use natural materials, and we work with British makers wherever we can. So to win a green award, from the people who care most about this, really does mean the world.
