Afterstone Limited is a British company, made with pride in Devon.
We help families find a way to commemorate a life that feels right for them — something beautiful, personal, and lasting.
Our range includes handmade ash into stone memorial pieces created from a loved one’s ashes, personalised engraved memorial stones, coordinated funeral stationery, scatter tubes, memory books, candles and pottery — all designed to work together so that every element of a farewell feels considered and consistent.
We are a proud Associate Member of SAIF; certified member of Made in Britain, and Devon Chamber of Commerce.
Our ash handling processes are designed to meet the standards set by the governing bodies overseeing funeral director and crematorium codes of practice in the UK (SAIF & FBCA).
All Afterstone prices are inclusive of VAT.
The Partner Programme — at a glance
We work with funeral directors, crematoriums, care homes and charities who share our commitment to helping families during one of the hardest times of their lives.
We also support families who have lost beloved pets. As such, we also work with vets, pet crematoriums, allied veterinary professionals, pet and country stores.
Passive Partnership: some prefer our passive partnership, where customers can simply pick up a business card from your counter. We refer to this as a passive partnership (tier 0). If you would like to make our business cards available for your customers to select without your intervention, please select 'passive partner programme' on the online form.

Tier 1 — Referral Partner
How it works
When you become a Referral Partner, we provide you with a unique partner code — for example, BROWNSTON. When you recommend Afterstone to a family, share your code with them. They place their own order at afterstone.co.uk at the standard RRP, entering your code at checkout.
The code does not reduce the price for the family. It simply tags the sale to Afterstone, so we can track customer sales linked to your code and credit 5% to your chosen charity.

We know that questions about ash memorials can come up unexpectedly. We provide a simple one-page guide for your team covering the questions families ask most — so anyone in your practice can respond with confidence, without needing specialist knowledge. |
Charitable contribution linked to referral activity
At the end of each year, Afterstone calculates the total sales generated by your partner code and makes a direct charitable donation of 5% of that total to your chosen charity.
We send you a written annual contribution statement so you can share the news with your team and the families you serve.
No bank details required. No invoicing. No administration on your part.

Important: Referral Partners are not entitled to any commission, fee or other payment from Afterstone. Charitable contributions are made solely at Afterstone's discretion as part of the Partner Programme and are paid directly to the selected charity |
Annual process
Afterstone runs the sales report for each partner annually and calculates the charitable contribution. We pay it directly to your chosen charity and send you a written contribution confirmation within 30 days of the year's end.
Annual period: 1 January – 31 December.
'Eligible sales' means all Afterstone products purchased by customers using your partner code. At the end of each calendar year, Afterstone totals all eligible sales across the year and calculates the charitable contribution. Amounts are not calculated per transaction. There is no minimum threshold — all annual totals will result in a contribution, however small, being paid or rolled into the following year if below £10.
Annual contribution statement
Each year, Afterstone will issue a contribution statement to each active Referral Partner showing:
• total sales attributed to your partner code during the period
• charitable contribution amount
• charity paid
• date of payment
Note: this statement is a charitable contribution confirmation, not a commission statement or remittance advice.
Choosing your charity
When you join the programme, you choose which charity your contributions go to, from our four partner charities. The charities are reviewed each calendar year. If you do not specify a preference, contributions go to our default charity.

All partner charities are UK-registered charities. Afterstone maintains a record of all charitable contributions made, including charity name, charity registration number and payment date.
Tier 2 — Trade Partner
How it works
As a Trade Partner, you place Afterstone orders directly on behalf of the families you serve. You receive an immediate discount off RRP at checkout using your unique trade code. The discount is applied automatically — no invoicing, no end-of-period reconciliation. You handle the family relationship. We handle the making and delivery.

At Afterstone, one of our core values is that people and planet come before profit. Our prices are set to be as accessible as possible — because we believe that commemorating a life beautifully should not be out of reach for any family. As a result, our margins are not inflated to accommodate large trade discounts, and we would rather keep our prices fair for families than offer the kind of kickbacks you may see elsewhere. We hope you will share that philosophy.

Order count and discount rate are reviewed at the end of each calendar year. Your rate resets to 10% at the start of each new year. When you reach a higher threshold during the year, we update your trade code promptly. The discount applies to all Afterstone products at their standard RRP.

If you intend to create the funeral stationery in-house or work with a designer or printer who lays out your content, you will be required to have a digital stationery licence. This is available to any partner, any tier, any time. The licence provides full access to all 4 colourways and new designs that are released within the 12-month licence period.
